Who qualifies for this service?
A person who is:
1) Medically unstable and under a physician's care.
2) Recovering from a hospital or convalescent stay, due to accident, illness or surgery.
Will I be charged for approved services?
No! Free with the approval of Medicaid and Medicare.
How do I begin receiving home care?
Eligible clients, caregivers or physicians can initiate services by calling our agency. We provide the expertise to make care successful by working closely with your physician and helping patients to enjoy a meaningful life.
Are private insurances accepted?
All private insurances are accepted based on the coverage provided by the said insurance company. BethHarold will help to explain which of your necessary services would be covered based on what your insurance company will allow.
How many people will I see while having homecare provided?
The number of actual care providers will depend on the services that you will need. However, the same staff will become your personal team of care providers for the duration.
How often will they come to see me?
This will again depend on your needs according to the physician and RN case manager. Your case manager will be happy to work with you and your family to schedule the necessary visits.
How long will the homecare staff member stay when they are here to see me?
The time that the staff member may be in your household will depend on the treatment, teaching, procedure, and/or planning that is needed during that visit. Your needs are prioritized at each visit and time is taken to address the problems that are to be tended to.
What if I only need short-term homecare?
An RN case manager can recommend discharge when it can be reported to the physician that your case's objectives have been completed. Depending on your case's progress, you can be discharged at any point of your care period.
What happens if I need homecare after I have already been discharged from a homecare agency?
Regardless of whether you were previously involved with BethHarold or any other homecare agency, we will be able to provide any services that you might need.
How can homecare help me to maintain my independence?
One of BethHarold's goals is to enhance and strengthen the independence of the patient through the teaching of care skills to the patient and family while being cared for.
